The 9th GP of this season has been characterized by the changing weather. After the summer of yesterday today a heavy rain has been the frame of today’s races. Positive results for our Team with Julien Bill who has reached two great performances. Marc De Reuver, after the conquest of the second position in the first heat, has been an unlucky protagonist in race 2.

Motocross World Championship MX1 - 2008

The result of the 9th GP of the season gives just a part of the right merit to the riders in the seat of the Honda Crf 450, who after the two competed heats on the circuit of Uddevalla, have something to recriminate.

Julien Bill, not perfectly comfortable on the soft Swedish soil has been able to conquest an interesting loot of points that will permit to him to enforce his 13th position on the general classification, instead Marc De Reuver author of a stratospheric first heat, has paid a lot un unlucky episode that has constrict him to the stop.

"It was possible to have a bigger loot of points, - this is the comment of Paolo Martin, Team Manager, at the end of the race- Marc De Reuver has been fantastic in the first heat and he has been able to manage perfectly the race reaching with merit the second final position. In race 2 because the fall of an other rider he has been constricted to stop. I'm very satisfied about the race of Julien Bill who has been able to finish both heats in the top ten even if the soil aspects are out of he likes. That confirm that Julien is recovering his best physical condition."

Marc De Reuver:

"In the first heat everything has gone fine. I have been able to start in the head group and I have immediately found a good race rhythm. It's a pity that for several laps I drove too nervously and so I've create a distance from Barragan impossible to recover, differ I could also got the game. In the second heat it has happened something that was impossible to foresee and to contrast. Going out from a turn a rider has fallen in front of me and  we were so close that I couldn't avoid him. When I stood up my bike was in bad conditions in fact I've fallen another time because I couldn't have a good control of it. So I preferred to stop because the distance was impossible to recover."

Julien Bill:

"After yesterday qualification I wasn't expecting a good result and also in the first heat I've not been able to find a good feeling with the track. In the beginning I suffered the soil conditions on a track that doesn't answer to my characteristics, then I have been able to impose a good race rhythm and to finish on the tenth place. In race 2 I well concentrated on the start because today it was very important to start in the head and I did so. I kept for the whole race a good speed and I found trajectories that permitted to me to be fast and close to the group of the best riders in front of me. I'm satisfied of the 7th position on a difficult and insidious track. I have add a good part of points to the general classify and I'm very happy for this too."

The world Championship will have a stop of one week and then will come back to Nelspruit, South Africa Republic, for the tenth GP of the season.
