Britain's Ricky Tordoff took his Team Anderson ATV Suzuki LT-R450 to victory in the first round of the EMX European Motorcycle Union Quad Cup at Bielstein in Germany on Sunday, taking a win and a third place in the two races.

The hard and fast track clearly suited the British rider's style and he took a start-to-finish win in the first race ahead of Dutch Champion Joe Maessen. In the second race the Suzuki rider fought to third place and maintained his pace to take the overall from French champion Romain Couprie
